On CNBC’s Closing Bell, Tuesday, October 21st, contributor Herb Greenberg talks about IBM’s need to Reinvent again. He notes that IBM is one of the companies profiled for reinventing, in Invent Reinvent Thrive. Greenberg suggests that it needs another reinvention. The clip is below. A: It carries the concept of needing to invent and reinvent through various stages, but it also uses real stories. They are captivating stories because they come directly from the people I interview. I jokingly say that my book may be the only book where the interviewees and the stories about them include the speakers at both the last democratic and republican conventions.

On July 30th, Lloyd Shefsky was interviewed by nationally syndicated radio host Jay Young on Daybreak USA about Invent Reinvent Thrive.

Lloyd talks about successful businesses and the key items that help keep them successful. He covers Howard Schultz of Starbucks, and the need to “reinvent” the core idea to be (or continue to be) successful.

While in Israel this May, Lloyd was interviewed by business journalist Tali Heruti @ TheMarker online (and in the print issue as well. Hebrew-English translation coming soon.)

Tali Heruti also talked about book and research on a daily  TV show named Sogrim He’shbon (Closing a deal). It was on the 865 episode at the 25.50 minutes of the show.

Family Enterprise Leadership Award
Lloyd Shefsky recently attended the 2014 Family Enterprise Leadership Award event at the Kellogg School of Management’s Center. G. Garvin Brown IV and Paul C. Varga of Brown-Forman, known for Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, were the award recipients. The two previously attended sessions on governing family enterprises at Kellogg.
